Necklaces

Throughout history, Baltic amber necklaces and pendants have been treasured not only for their beauty but also for their believed healing powers. In ancient Northern Italy, women wore amber bead necklaces to help prevent thyroid disease, while Martin Luther, founder of the Lutheran Church in the 1500s, carried a piece of amber to protect against kidney stones. Even today, amber is used in soothing remedies for teething infants, with large beaded necklaces and amber pacifiers remaining popular natural aids.
